The result is a conversion layer that can be covered by a finishing paint.

Uses
Rust converters: VEGERUST® TP and VEGERUST® TP-V can be applied directly to rusted substrates to convert residual rust into an organic complex.
Rust converter primers: VEGERUST® TP and VEGERUST® TP-V can be used as anticorrosive additives in solvent based formulations (alkyd, epoxy, acrylic resins).
Warning
VEGERUST® TP and VEGERUST® TP-V are not suitable for water based primers. They cause the coalescence of the resins.
Usual dosages
3 to 5% of VEGERUST® TP or VEGERUST® TP-V in solvent based primers.
