**Two Days of Technical Exchange and Team Building with Our Spanish Partner Comindex**
On May 26 and 27, 2026, we had the pleasure of welcoming Noemi Ortega and Miquel Arraco to our facilities in Lorette. Noemi and Miquel are Technical Sales Representatives at Comindex S.A., Labema’s exclusive distributor in Spain.
This visit provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen our partnership and share our expertise. Beyond discovering our product range, the objective was to give Noemi and Miquel a deeper understanding of our technical know-how, testing methods, and the solutions we develop to meet our customers’ needs.
During these two days, we worked together on several laboratory tests. These included a flash-rust prevention performance test on a water-based DTM coating, as well as a cast iron chip test conducted in accordance with DIN 51360-2, a standard method used to evaluate the corrosion protection performance of metalworking fluids. These practical demonstrations generated many technical discussions, allowing us to exchange experiences and gain a deeper understanding of the applications and benefits of our products.
The visit also included a tour of our production workshops and quality control laboratory. This gave Noemi and Miquel the opportunity to discover our working environment firsthand, from product development and testing to manufacturing processes and quality control procedures that ensure the reliability and consistency of our solutions.
Beyond the technical aspects, this visit was above all a great opportunity to strengthen the relationship between our teams. The discussions, exchange of knowledge, and friendly atmosphere that characterized these two days perfectly reflect the spirit of partnership that we strive to build with our distributors and collaborators.
Thanks to this immersion in our daily activities, Noemi and Miquel now have an even more comprehensive understanding of Labema’s expertise and capabilities. We are confident that they will successfully share this knowledge with Spanish industrial manufacturers and effectively support producers of paints, detergents, metalworking fluids, and heat transfer fluids formulated in aqueous systems.
